This year we are making changes…we are moving everything but the Dog Show back onto the Playing fields including the Archery. New this year we have a Craft Stalls Tent so please don’t forget your purses! Also new are Criters2You, Mrs Bead and local Wool Spinners. Once again Drystone Radio will be broadcasting from the show and The Party in the Park.
On a Friday night this year, Party in the Park has an exciting line up of Motown, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Rock and Roll, Irish folk, Samba band and more. Entry at 3pm for 4pm start, come early to set up your gazebos and picnics!
Bradley Show presents a professional production of . . .

Helen Mae who has just returned from the Cleethorpes Summer Festival, will be performing a mixture of music styles from 6pm (during Drystone radio’s Knur and Spell game).
Back by popular demand….THE ROCKETS…come hear their set from 8pm to 10pm

Dry stone Radio will be hosting a game of Knurr and Spell (oldie Yorkshire game) from 6pm to 8pm. This is open to all and there will be prizes for adults and children for the furthest hit of the Spell. The party will be filmed and played at the Show on Sunday and will also be available on You Tube. Please contact the show committee if you would prefer your child not to be filmed.

Many thanks to all who have returned their prize cups. A new shield will be presented this year for the most points in the vegetable category, donated by Malcolm Mattock’s sons and in his name. There will also be a revamped Presidents trophy for the most points in the Garden category.
New this year is Archery, an aerial bird of prey display, Drums a- go- go, Drystone radio FM 103.5, and a climbing tower.

On Sunday, Drystone radio will be broadcasting from the show from 2pm to 4pm and presenters will be James Proctor (ex Scandinavian BBC broadcaster and Bradley resident), Stephen Brown and young P.J. Hitchcock. David Adams will be our guest of honour presenting the prizes.
If the weather is fine the Kildwick Knitting group will be displaying their new creation ‘A Knitted Meadow’.
Much of the money raised at the Show is collected on the gates. If you are able to volunteer, please sign up at the Village Store. Extra help is also needed to erect the marquees on Friday the 1st at 6:30pm. Preparations for the Show will continue in the park on Saturday 2nd at 10am. Please help if you can.

If you would like a stall at the show please complete the following form and return with payment to the Village Store. Costs are £5 per stall for charity, or £25 per stall for established businesses.
Last year saw Bradley Show change quite a bit. This year we will be keeping things mostly the same, with a few new attractions such as Archery, an aerial bird of prey display and static display offering ’hold a bird’. Also in the Entertainments tent there will be Drumming workshops for adults and accompanied children of 6 and over.
We will also be hosting Drystone radio.
Party in the Park has been made a bi-annual event, so you will see its return next year.

All funds raised will be used to support local, community projects.
This year we are purchasing a bench in the memory of Malcolm Mattock, a much missed resident, who lived in the village his entire life.
Projects we have supported include the popular village Pantomime Aladdin, trips and workshops for the Rainbows, camping equipment for the Guides, village Christmas tree, flowers for the beds beside the canal (WI), an event shelter for afternoon teas, the Cricket club, St. Mary’s church, the Methodist church, the Village hall and the Kennet boat.
Entries can now be made using the online form up to 5pm on Monday 29th August. Fees for online entry, should be sent to Bradley Village Store, 5-6 Rose Terrace, Bradley BD20 9DP. Include your name on the envelope and mark for the attention of ‘Gwen Herbert – Bradley Show Online Entry’.
Entries can still also be submitted using the paper forms, copies of which can be found at the Village Store. Post these entries with monies, in the Show post box at the Village Store.
